In 2024 KBCCI launched a new shop lokal campaign ACTIV8KB aimed at driving foot traffic back to struggling retailers on Hannan and Burt Streets in Kalgoorlie-Boulder who have been doing it tough.
RDA Goldfields Esperance are proud to support this initiative and our Director Sharon has even been named the “Activ8-KB Queen” by the Kalgoorlie Miner with her gorgeous handmade dress.
Events to date have included Unicorns in the Square, a visit by Ben Cousins, Boulder Markets, Progressive shopping events and much more. There are some incredible events planned in the near future so stay tuned to socials!

Esperance, 1 November 2024
We are proud to sponsor and support the inaugural Converge Esperance.
Converge Esperance will bring attendees together for a one-day conference on 1 November 2024, featuring presentations from inspirational keynote speakers, industry leaders, leading economists, and business services experts.
A number of smaller events will wrap around the Converge Esperance conference including one-on-one sessions and group workshops presented by guest speakers, networking and sundowner functions, and local tours.
As well as providing high quality thought leadership, professional development and networking opportunities for the local business sector, Converge Esperance will support the local economy boosting local expenditure and business participation, and attracting visitors to the region.

In 2024 the SEGRA (Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia) Conference will be held in Busselton, WA from 29 – 31st October.
This year’s theme is Beyond Boundaries: Fostering Connection, Partnership, and Collaboration for Regional Growth.
The Summit, hosted by RDA South West, provides a unique opportunity for all sections of the Australian community, rural and urban, to explore the key issues affecting regional, rural and remote Australia and be part of providing positive sustainable outcomes to ensure future prosperity.
While the program is still being finalised, you can be sure it will be impressive.
A delegation from RDA Goldfields Esperance will be attending both SEGRA and the RDA National Forum (which precedes SEGRA).
